Organisation Profile

The South Atlantic Educational and Cultural Missions (SAEC) is a subsidiary of Atlantic Pacific Project Group, founded 2000 to provide assistance of all descriptions to aid the education of persons in the countries of Central and South America.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR PSLS FINANCIAL AID

Entry requirements may vary from country to country. An interested applicant must have appropriate level of English Language proficiency: and have appropriate academic qualifications recognized for standard entry based on comparison with United Kingdom "O" and "A" Level examinations.

1. Completed and signed General Application Forms

2. Certified copies of secondary and/or high school leaving certificate (testimonial ).

3. Certified copies of academic transcripts (records of your academic work).

4. 4 recent coloured passport photos.

5. Medical examination reports.

6. ACT or SAT or PSLS Assessment results.

Placement tests: The tests are examinations offered to students after they have arrived on campus. The tests may be administered to an applicant in his or her home country and may include any of the following examinations: ACT, SAT AND TOEFL.

We use ACT - standardized testing or SAT - standardized testing for financial aid consideration. An applicant is responsible for paying all the test fees direct to ACT Assessment Testing Boards. Applicant may take the PSLS Recruitment Assessment Testing in his or her country. The cost of PSLS test is US$20 and will be borne by the applicant. This fee helps to offset the higher overall costs of providing materials for testing outside the United Kingdom.

American College Testing (ACT): ACT is a standardized test offered by American College Testing, required for admission to some American Colleges and Universities and some scholarship agencies around the globe for financial aid consideration. Scholastic Assessment Testing (SAT): SAT is a standardized test offered by the American College Board through the Educational Testing Service, required for admission to many American Colleges and Universities and some scholarship agencies around the globe for financial aid consideration.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): TOEFL is a test administered by Educational Testing Service, required for admission to many American and Canadian College and Universities and some Australian and British Institutions. The test applicable to applicants for whom English is not the native language. Medical tests: The test is required of all applicants.

PSLS awards: An applicant admitted into OPEM under  will receive PSLS financial aid certificate of awards. The certificate is valueless without the organisation seal affixed on it.

Membership certificate and identification card: All members of OPEM must have membership certificate and identification card.
